Colt have recently been assisting one of the UK’s largest offshore gas production companies with inspection and maintenance of their southern north sea sector.

The works have involved a wide scope of supply and has been driven by the constant demands of the ever present demand for gas. The installations are rarely in shutdown and require a skilled and highly flexible workforce that is responsive and adaptable to the continual demands of the operator.

Colt’s experience of offshore maintenance stretches back over forty years and in the past we have supplied over 300 skilled personnel including mechanical staff to the offshore sector from Aberdeen to Nova Scotia.

Colt was recently awarded a tank cleaning contract with one of the UK’s major refineries. The contract involves the award of six tanks of varying sizes and product types. All of the tanks involve different methods of cleaning including manual, semi-automated and full automated cleaning systems. On top of the contract a further tank has recently been awarded taking the total contract to seven and other works have been awarded included Colt’s specialised and internationally renowned Hydro Abrasive Cutting Systems. The works are expected to run through to the end of the year and cement the relationship with both parties.

Qualifications:-
Safety Passport for Refineries, Confined Space, Breathing Apparatus, High Pressure Water Jetting.
Experience – Petrochemical industry would be an advantage. If you hold the correct qualifications training will be given where necessary.
