Colt carry out regular Digester and lagoon evacuations throughout a working year with similarities to the digester shown in the picture on the right.
Approximately 1600 tons of digester sludge and silt was removed using high velocity evacuation equipment in approximately seven days. All sludges and silt were removed from site and blended with other organic matter altering its composition and subsequently transferred to field sites as a soil conditioner.
